User Experience design
We take a holistic approach and practice user-centred design. We believe good design is about making life easy for your customers and eliciting the correct emotional response. From clear navigation and usability to managing the customer's mood, we impart the little extras that make your site stand out from the crowd.
It's never too late
Do you know how many - and why - your prospective customers are quitting the checkout process? Are visitors getting lost and frustrated in your website? Have you figures to show your website is performing as well as it can?
It's great to gain extra traffic to your website using organic search engine optimisation or via pay-per-click advertising. But it's worse than useless if the extra traffic isn't converting to customers - it's costing you money.
Your website's structure matters
No matter how great your website content is—if your users can't find what they are looking for they will get frustrated and may never return. Information architecture is the process of organising content in a way that helps visitors find their way around your website. Each visitor arrives with a different perspective and different aims, and the website must make content findable to everyone. The navigation structure, use of language and search facilities all influence how easily your visitors can do what they arrived at your website to do.
We like to work with you to design an information architecture that works for all users of your website. We do this through activities such as:
- Analysing the content of your existing website
- Interviewing stakeholders & sample website users
- Card sorting—a technique where users sort relevant concepts into categories, to ensure that the terms used and website structure will make sense to them
